Jon Yuzwenko
Jon has always had a passion for sports and fitness and excelled at baseball and football growing up. Although most of his free time was spent playing sports or riding his mountain bike, he struggled to maintain a healthy balance within his body. He ended up 75lbs overweight and unhappy.
After years of battling his weight, Jon made the change at the age of 17 towards improving his health. He began to educate himself on living a healthier lifestyle, and after 18 months of balanced eating and regular exercise, he lost the majority of his weight. He took his passion to the next level by completing the N.A.I.T Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma program, where he learned the necessary skills to be able to help clients of all backgrounds.
Jon enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking, as well as taking up new and challenging activities. However, Jon gets the most pleasure out of spending quality time with his family and friends.
Keeping his own personal weight loss and lifestyle changes in mind, Jon established Kinetix Personal Training Ltd. in 2007 out of a passion for helping people achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Jon's philosophy to live by is: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".
Getting Started
60 minute Fitness Consultation - complementary. We are so confident you'll discover the benefit of these sessions, the first one is free.
A critical component to any successful training program is to understand what makes you unique. The best chance of success is to gather information on your current state of health and your history of activity and any injuries or concerns. Then we can set short & long term goals, incorporating a total lifestyle approach.
Next, we carry out a specific series of movement screening exercise to identify muscle imbalances, range of motion limitations and patterns caused from past injuries or repetitive motions of daily living. We use targeted stretches and foam roller release techniques to regain function, increase blood flow and restore balance to the body.
Lastly, in order to create a well-balanced physique we must first build a strong base of support. To achieve that aim, and long lasting results, we build a program of corrective exercises to facilitate nervous system activation and core muscle development.

Throughout the program, we encourage and educate you to excel and hold you accountable to targets we set together. Learn to Run 5 k (beginner)
Eight week workshop, 3x/week $300
Running is one of the most popular past times in North America; yet two thirds of recreational runners suffer at least one injury each season within the first 3 years. At the Water Garden, we are pleased to offer one of the few customized running workshops led by a certified Personal Trainer, specializing in corrective exercises and injury management. Each runner receives an initial assessment and a detailed exercise/stretching program tailored to their needs. At the end of the 8 weeks we reevaluate and showcase the results you’ve achieved.

Boot Camps & Group Classes
60 minutes
Lunge into fitness with a Boot Camp or Group Class that challenges your entire body. This hour long conditioning session stresses your muscular and cardiovascular system and tests your ability to dig deep and finish strong. Exercises are modified according to ability and workouts increase gradually in intensity throughout the 6 weeks. Brilliant for all fitness levels.
